The Great Walk - 3 Day Hike.

There is a guided tour, or we can do it ourselves up to you, I think it would depend on numbers. If we have over 6-8 people then we could do it ourselves, however if there are only a few of us I think joining the guided tour would be best for safety reasons.

We will need to be prepared for this one though, food, water, tents, sleeping bags, boots, first Aid kits etc...
BCF pretty much sell everything you need, pots, pans, Hiking packs etc...

Lets work towards it, I know we can all manage over 8k walks but this one is around 18ks per day for 3 days... I know I will need more walking to build up to this, but I reckon this would be fun.

Lets aim for June/July, if anyone's interested let me know, or post here.

Bear in mind this is not a circuit so would need to tee up transport or make it a return walk so 6ish days. (I vote return walk)

Would love to do the return one, except i have put in for a crap load of time off already this year. so could only do the three day one

yeah we will get my mum to follow some people to the end of the trail, drop a couple of cars off and drive us back to the beginning and then we wont have to walk back another 3 days.

My dad is coming too I think.. lol
